We want to thank you for supporting the AT Memorial Tournament over the past 9 years and 8 editions. This annual event has been something our family and Trumbull United Soccer Club have taken an immense amount of pride in hosting in Anthony’s honor. We’ve loved the camaraderie, friendly competition, and alumni reunions year after year. It’s been a rewarding experience to say the least and we are always amazed by the incredible turnout and ongoing support from our community each year.
We are saddened to share this year we will not be hosting the Annual AT Memorial Tournament. While the tournament will take a pause for now, our dedication to the Anthony Memorial Scholarship Fund and to commitment to supporting students in their educational journeys continues to be at the heart of what we do.
Staying true to our mission, we’re exploring new opportunities within the Trumbull soccer community to sustain our fundraising efforts for years to come. We’ll share updates once our plans with partners are in place. Your continued support inspires us to find creative ways to make a lasting impact on students’ futures at Trumbull High School.
During this transition, we will continue to accept donations, with all proceeds directly supporting the AT Memorial scholarship fund for THS seniors. We’re deeply grateful for your continued generosity, which keeps this meaningful tradition alive as we shape the next chapter of our fundraising efforts. We are pleased to announce that in May of 2025 we awarded 5 scholarships to Trumbull Students to assist in their education goals.
To date we have awarded over 25 scholarships since the inception of the program in 2016. We look forward to continuing these efforts in honor of our Anthony.

Our Roots
Since founding the Anthony Teixeira Memorial Tournament in 2016, the Trumbull United Soccer Club and Teixeira family have teamed up to make a positive impact and give back to their community. The core of our efforts is to bring together the local soccer community in a family setting for a day of friendly competition and to honor the former Trumbull athlete, Anthony Teixeira. All proceeds go directly to supporting the Anthony Teixeira Memorial Scholarship fund. This scholarship is awarded annually to several deserving Trumbull High School Seniors.
